Iain Ford has spent 41 years working in financial services — as a regulated financial adviser, as a non-executive PLC director, and as interim Finance Director of one of the UK's most successful EIS company formation businesses. He has worked alongside US and Canadian venture capital projects and has provided technical support to other financial services firms throughout his career.

Alongside his advisory career, Iain spent three years as a part-time lecturer at the University of Abertay, teaching Financial Services and Management Accounting and writing course modules — experience that shaped a lasting conviction about how people learn to engage with money.

Having ceased to operate as a regulated adviser, the focus of Iain's work is now the advice gap — and how it can be addressed through education and confidence building rather than product sales.
